What is a Heat Exchanger?
A heat exchanger is a device designed to transfer heat from one fluid (gas or liquid) to another, without the two fluids making direct contact. Our descaling solution is commonly used for industrial gasketed plate heat exchangers but can be applied to any type of heat exchanger.
In a gasketed plate heat exchanger, heat is transferred through channels created between corrugated plates. These plates create a counter-current flow, which maximizes heat transfer efficiency. Plate and frame heat exchangers can be up to five times more efficient than other types of heat exchangers.
